UpWheel

Context

UpWheel is an early-stage startup aiming to simplify and consolidate the second-hand automotive sales market. Traditionally, consumers looking to purchase a used vehicle visit an average of 6 websites before they find a vehicle that’s suitable to their needs. UpWheel’s platform aims to reduce this number to one, by scraping the web for all used vehicles and making them available in one place.

The Challenge

From the get-go, UpWheel had a long list of challenges that needed to be addressed. They needed a brand Identity that not only spoke to their product and unique value, but that stood out among the heavy competition in the market - UpWheel’s success was partially dependent on getting users to trust them and click on their links over others offering a similar result. In addition, UpWheel needed a platform UI and UX that was bulletproof, modern, and better than what the market was offering. 

What We Did

Syndicate worked with UpWheel to deliver high-quality and sustainable solutions to these challenges. Off the bat, our team created a logo and brand identity that was extremely unique in colour and messaging, sure to stand out from the pack. From here, we worked with product and development to deliver a user interface design that beat the competition by a mile. This UI needed to be fun, but extremely intuitive (The target market for used car buyers is nearly the population). Syndicate addressed these challenges to the highest degree and continues to work with UpWheel on market entry and penetration strategy.
